All done and ready to go… well, I mean I would’ve loved to have kept going, but you have to let go and finish at one point :)
So come and check it out Tuesday night, 7pm at RMIT Storey Hall. There will also be selected animations screening at Fed Square on Wednesday afternoon at 3pm and then again at 5.30pm. I believe Passing Dreams may just get a gig. More info at aim2009.net

Yeah. The Finder window just said “Zero KB”. I tried to take a screenshot, but obviously my computer wouldn’t let me. So I closed one of the windows and took the screenshot above. Needless to say that applications can’t seem to “unpause”. Luckily nothing much was lost.

I was mucking around with some effects last week, much to the dismay of one of my lecturers. I added some colourful streaky things that I mocked up in Photoshop, hoping to replicate in After Effects.
Then Benk showed me some clips from Season 4 of Heroes that used a much more subtle effect. Something like this may work nicely when Kim boards the tram.

I’ve decided to change the look of the film from standalone bubble on each character, to their thoughts manifesting throughout the tram carraige. Here’s a before and (concept version of the) after:
